Did anybody watch the Dog show? How whack was the best in breed for the Greater Swiss Mountain dog? That dog was probably one of the worst examples of breed standards I've ever seen. How did you bring in the new year?
Mine was the prime example of how I enjoy living my life.
As the ball dropped and hit 12:00, I hit play on the keyboard and began dancing alone to Kate Nash. I proceeded to pick my dog up and danced with the poor, confused pup. Had anybody seen me through a window they could have called animal abuse because he looked pretty pathetic, but anyways, that is a picture perfect way for me to bring in the new year.
I texted 3 or 4 people that I would like to try to keep in my life for 09; Realized that your name isn't in my phones T9 memory anymore, its been too long since we've talked, and spent the night with a few friends dancing at a terrible dance party.
It was fun.
My goal for 09 is to cut the bullshit. Trim it out of my life and leave nothing but lean, mean reality. Real people, real events and minimal drama.
If you heard from me specifically, try to hang around in 09.
If you didn't, consider this an invitation to spend a real year with me, if that's the sort of thing you're into.
Leave the Drama in 08... It's so last year!

I jump around from place to place, person to person.
I'm never fully planted, never set.
It's not that I don't want to settle and grow.
It's just that these roots are never set deep in the silt I've been planted in.
I need to find some soil.
Quality soil where I can take root, grow and thrive.
